Condoms are every sexually active woman’s must-have accessories.

It’s past time for women to take control of their sexual health. Expecting your partner to provide condoms, or other forms of contraception, puts your safety in their hands. Personally, I see a condom as an every day accessory. I might not normally have one in my bikini top, but I do keep one in my purse.

There is a stigma that having condoms must mean that you are having lots of crazy sex. If that’s true, congratulations! But carrying condoms shouldn’t brand you as someone who sleeps around. Having a secret stash shows that you are a smart and empowered woman who is in control of her body, which is just about the sexiest thing a woman can be.

Traditional condoms are full of chemicals that can harm you and your partner, but ‘getting some’ doesn’t have to put your health at risk. Sustain condoms are vegan, fair trade, sustainable, cruelty-free, and give back.  Plus, they aren’t too bad to look at either.

Founded by family power team Jeffery, Sheila, and Meika Hollender, Sustain mashes together Jeffery’s decades of experience creating environmentally-friendly products, Sheila’s expertise on women’s issues and environmental sustainability, and Meika’s fresh take on branding, sexuality, and female empowerment.

Sustain condoms just launched recently, but they can be purchased online right now, and will be in stores very soon.

It turns out; the best way to protect yourself and your partner, is also the fastest way to turn up the heat.

I keep a jar of condoms in my room, but also have this nifty pouch for taking them on the go. No matter where you are traveling, it’s important to plan ahead. Even if you think you won’t need them, there isn’t a negative to being over prepared.

I’m a little bit biased, but Sustain condoms are my favorite. I know that they are good for me, good for the environment, and that my purchase produces a positive ripple effect for women in need around the globe thanks to Sustain’s dedication to giving back.

Most vagina-related products contain harmful ingredients and put little care into how they affect women’s bodies. We’re changing that.
